About The Florida DragStrip Riot

6th Annual Florida Dragstrip Riot presented by the BLP Xtreme Performance and Orlando Speed World.
October 28th -29th, 2022

THE EVENT

October 28th & 29th (Fri. & Sat.): Orlando, FL- Florida Dragstrip Riot 6, a pre-1979 Drag Race and Car Show at Orlando Speed World 19164 E. Colonial Dr. (32820) on Hwy 50 near the 520 Interchange.

Heads up 1/4 mile drag racing with Gassers, Front Engine Dragsters, Altereds, Funny Cars, Stock/Super Stock, Muscle Car’s Slick tire and Street Tire. This years event includes the Ohio Gasser Madness 6 race points series finale.

All pre-1979 interpretations of American steel and/or fiberglass hot rods and/or drag cars raced from the 1940’s thru 1970’s.

An annual gathering of vintage (pre-1979) hot rods, custom race cars, trucks, choppers, and show cars. It’s also 2 days of drag racing, unique vendors, swap meets and memories galore.

THE VENUE

Orlando Speed World (directions)
Friday gates open at 2pm, track hot at 4pm
Friday’s event starts 6pm

Saturday gates open 8am, track hot at 9:30am
Saturday events start at 12 noon.

SPECTATORS

Spectators $20, per day, kids 12 and under free.

PARTICIPANTS

  • Car Show parking pit side $25, per day, includes driver
    (If you want to run your car, pay $10 more for a tech card)

  • Racecar entry $35, per day,  includes driver entrance

PARKING

Pre-1979 Race cars and Show Cars only parking on Pit Side!

Race Car and Race Car Support Vehicles: Park on the concrete. Overflow will be on the grass in the Shut Down area. Please keep your footprint small. We have alotta Race Cars and Trailers to Park!!!

Show Car: You will be parking in the grass. Overflow will park along fence and the Shut Down area. Along the fence (PIT SIDE) is reserved for Car Clubs, some Swap Meet spaces and Vendors. If you’d like to reserve a spot for your Car Club/Swap Meet/Vendor please contact J.T.

 PLEASE READ
This is a Pre-1979 and older event. There will be NO Spectator/VIP Parking without a windshield pass on the Pit Side.
